Advanced Dental Technology
Advanced dental technology makes diagnoses more accurate and treatment more efficient, comfortable for patients and more effective. At Crescent City Smiles, we use low-dose digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, Panorex panoramic X-rays, electric hand pieces and rotary endodontics. We also use:
Diode Laser Dentistry
Imagine modern dentistry without the shots, drilling or fear and you have laser dentistry. Diode laser technology is commonly used in dentistry and allows Dr. Rivet to sculpt your smile and shape target soft tissues without pain. Diode laser dentistry is just as effective, but with greater precision and less bleeding than with a scalpel!
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays allow Dr. Rivet to obtain clearer, more precise images of your teeth and gums. Digital X-rays are generally considered safer for patients because they use considerably less radiation than traditional, non-digital X-rays.
i-Tero Digital Scanners
i-Tero® digital scanners put the power of greater precision in Dr. Rivet’s hands, simply and conveniently. This digital scanning technology completely replaces the need to make physical impressions (the goop-and-gag kind) using a 3D digital scan of your teeth and bite, then make adjustments in real time and transmit those images wirelessly to the dental lab for processing a precision tooth crown, dental bridge and dentures or partials.
